Dapper-Dog

So a lot has changed in the time that I've been away from here, and I like to think it was for the better. Starting college taught me a lot about myself and my art; namely that my art wasn't awful, but it wasn't good, and that my attitude was horrible and it was holding me back. A lot if it had to do with depression but I was using it as an excuse to cop out on my work and not push myself, which I've been trying to change now. I'm a lot more comfortable with my art stylistically and I feel like I'm finally headed in the direction I want to be going in. Well it seems plain old "DapperDog" was already taken (couldn't even find anyone with the name though) so please disregard the hyphen as it isn't meant to be part of my new name. "Dapper Dog" or "Dapper Dog Fine Art" is my new artist name and the name of my business now. I'm working on a business card, logo, and icon that all make use of one of my favorite breeds of dog. Just as a slightly off topic note, I also love cats but I decided a dog would better represent me in all my glorious derp. EDIT: I thought I should mention this as well... It dawned on me very recently that the name I use for all of my art related dealings, Blanco-chamma, a name quite dear to me (bestowed by a childhood friend) has most definitely run it's course. My best friend gave me the name in sixth grade and as much as I still love it, I realized it sounds childish and could very well be preventing me from succeeding business-wise. I've decided that it's time for me, and others, to take my work a little more seriously. I mean, it's how I'm making my bread money now and I know image is important, so I'm going to try and freshen things up with a breathe of new life. I've got a good one in mind, so stay tune
